    Description

The Department of State’s Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons (TIP Office) conducts an annual open competition to fund programs addressing human trafficking challenges outside the United States. The process begins with a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) inviting Statements of Interest (SOIs) that target country- or region-specific trafficking issues. Selected applicants are then invited to submit full proposals. Funded projects must address at least one of the “3Ps” of anti-trafficking efforts—prosecution, protection, or prevention—and may focus on sex or labor trafficking involving any gender or age group. The TIP Office seeks proposals that are innovative, have systemic impact, align with U.S. government priorities, and incorporate survivor input.
