Description
This grant opportunity funds local organizations and entities—including faith-based and community organizations—to develop and deliver sexual risk avoidance education (SRAE) programs for youth ages 10–19. The aim is to teach youth how to voluntarily refrain from non-marital sexual activity through medically accurate, evidence-based, and age-appropriate curricula. Programs must also address related risk behaviors such as substance use and dating violence, promote personal responsibility, goal setting, and healthy decision-making, and be culturally and developmentally appropriate for diverse youth populations.
The program specifically targets states and territories that did not accept their FY 2026 Title V State SRAE allotment, supporting local initiatives to fill the service gap.
