This program supports investigator-initiated research projects that address the prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of diseases and conditions associated with military-related toxic exposures. Research can span from basic laboratory work to translational studies, including preclinical studies in animal models and human subjects, as well as correlative studies associated with existing clinical trials. The program aims to advance scientific understanding and improve patient care for Service Members, Veterans, their families, and the public affected by toxic exposures related to military service.
