Description
The Training Opportunities for the Public (TOP) Grant is designed to help Tennessee public libraries enhance digital literacy and technology access within their communities. Administered by the Tennessee State Library and Archives and supported by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, this grant funds projects such as digital literacy training, provision of mobile hotspots, installation of solar charging stations, and internal network upgrades. The program aims to bridge the digital divide and foster community development by ensuring residents have the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive in a digital world. All participating libraries must provide digital literacy training to the public.
