This opportunity provides discretionary grants to train staff and leadership personnel employed in, participating in, or preparing for employment in projects funded under the Federal TRIO Programs. The goal is to improve the operation of TRIO projects through targeted training in areas such as student access, persistence, program compliance, and leadership. Three absolute priorities guide the types of training projects supported, focusing on student access/enrollment, student persistence/outcomes, and program operations/compliance. Projects must serve a minimum number of participants annually, depending on the absolute priority addressed.
