Description
The Public Diplomacy Section at the U.S. Mission to Germany invites proposals for initiatives that reinforce the transatlantic relationship, particularly as the United States marks its 250th anniversary. The program seeks projects that foster mutual understanding, collaboration, and meaningful engagement between the U.S. and German audiences. Priority areas include science, technology, and space cooperation; sports diplomacy; democracy and civic engagement; freedom of speech and countering anti-Semitism; and the long-term impact of exchange programs.
Projects should feature strong U.S. components, clearly defined German target audiences, and a strategic implementation plan with measurable objectives. The program encourages innovative approaches such as STEM workshops, leadership seminars, youth engagement, public forums, and alumni activities. All proposals must include a robust monitoring and evaluation plan.
