The Transit Oriented Communities Infrastructure Grant Program (TOCI), administered by the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) in partnership with the Colorado Energy Office and Department of Transportation, provides state funding to local governments for infrastructure improvements that support regulated affordable housing in designated Transit Centers and Neighborhood Centers within certified Transit-Oriented Communities (TOCs). The program aims to advance affordable, accessible, and resilient communities by funding upgrades to publicly owned infrastructure, planning, and community engagement activities that further the goals of HB24-1313. Eligible projects include both capital and planning activities tied directly to the creation or support of affordable housing near transit.
