Summary: Supports innovative translational research in Primary Immunodeficiency (PI) to bridge basic discoveries to clinical applications and improve patient outcomes.
Key Information: Only one active grant per investigator at a time; international and U.S. investigators eligible.
This program funds innovative and novel investigations in Primary Immunodeficiency (PI), especially those that translate basic scientific discoveries into clinical advances. The aim is to deepen understanding of genotype-phenotype correlations, immune mechanisms, and to foster research that leads to better diagnosis, new therapies, and improved health and quality of life for people affected by PI. Projects with a clear translational impact and those that are otherwise difficult to advance without this award are strongly encouraged.
