Description
This cooperative agreement funds projects that design, implement, and evaluate innovative and scalable trauma system models to improve emergency medical services (EMS) and trauma care coordination. The program aims to enhance trauma system resilience, increase access for medically underserved populations, and improve patient outcomes by supporting partnerships across trauma centers, EMS, hospitals, and public health agencies. Recipients are expected to test and scale models that address gaps in trauma care access and coordination, with a focus on replicability and sustainability.
