This program provides competitive grant funding to Tribal Governments, Tribal Colleges/Universities, the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (on behalf of the Native Hawaiian Community), Tribal organizations, and Alaska Native Corporations to expand broadband access and adoption on Tribal Lands. Projects may focus on broadband infrastructure deployment or programs promoting remote learning, telework, telehealth, and digital inclusion. The program aims to close the digital divide in Tribal communities by supporting cost-effective, outcome-driven projects that complement other federal broadband initiatives such as the BEAD Program.
