    Description

    This opportunity provides funding for technical assistance and training to support the development, implementation, and enhancement of Tribal justice systems. The program aims to help federally recognized Indian Tribes prevent and reduce crime, particularly the impact of opioids, stimulants, and other illicit substances, and to decrease overdose fatalities. Assistance is culturally responsive and individualized, delivered both virtually and on-site through meetings, webinars, and peer-to-peer sessions. The program also fosters collaboration with federal, state, and local partners to build Tribal justice system capacity and uphold Tribal sovereignty and self-governance.
