This program aims to address the opioid overdose crisis in Tribal communities by increasing access to FDA-approved medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) and supporting a comprehensive continuum of prevention, treatment, and recovery services for opioid use disorder (OUD), co-occurring substance use disorders, and stimulant misuse (including cocaine and methamphetamine). The grant is designed to help Tribal entities strengthen their capacity to respond to substance use crises and improve health outcomes for their communities.
