This funding opportunity provides cooperative agreements to support Federally recognized Tribes, Tribal organizations, and Inter-Tribal Consortia in planning for entry into, or expansion of, the Indian Health Service (IHS) Tribal Self-Governance Program (TSGP). The planning phase is intended to help Tribes and organizations conduct legal and budgetary research, internal government planning, and organizational preparation related to the administration of health care programs. The goal is to empower Tribes to make informed decisions about assuming Programs, Services, Functions, and Activities (PSFAs) from IHS, enhancing their ability to deliver health care tailored to their communities’ needs.
