Description
This funding opportunity accelerates the early to mid-stage commercialisation of research in Advanced Connectivity Technologies (ACT), focusing on projects that translate engineering and physical sciences research into real-world applications. Projects must address the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology’s (DSIT) themes of Sustainable Networks and Secure and Resilient Networks. The scheme aims to bridge the gap between fundamental research and user adoption, supporting technology development, prototype validation, and market pathways. The primary goal is to deliver economic, societal, policy, and environmental benefits for a more sustainable and resilient UK, with a focus on translation and impact rather than fundamental research.
