This funding opportunity is designed to accelerate the commercialisation of technology and science developed by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) particle physics, astronomy, and nuclear (PPAN) community. It targets projects at technology readiness level (TRL) 5 to 7, helping move innovations closer to market deployment. The programme is open to projects originating from core STFC-funded areas such as particle physics, astrophysics, astronomy, nuclear physics, accelerator physics, solar and planetary science, and quantum science and computing.
Awardees receive not only funding but also access to commercialisation training through Innovate UK’s ICURe Programme, industry collaboration opportunities, and expert support to build commercialisation skills and explore market potential.
