Description
This annual prize, offered by the American Psychoanalytic Association, awards $500 to the undergraduate student whose essay best engages psychoanalytic ideas in relation to a focused question within any academic discipline. The competition encourages undergraduate scholarship that thoughtfully integrates psychoanalytic concepts, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and critical thinking about psychoanalysis. The winning essay is selected by the Committee on Psychoanalysis and the Academy.
