Description
This program funds US-based nonprofit organizations that approach community work in creative and inspiring ways, with a particular emphasis on advancing racial equity and serving diverse populations. The Foundation prioritizes organizations whose leadership reflects the communities they serve and those working to dismantle systems that constrain individual opportunities. Priority program areas include agriculture, clean and safe drinking water, community engagement, water management, and watershed advocacy, particularly within specific counties in California, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Grants are intended for general support, and the Foundation is especially interested in supporting organizations focused on racial equity and/or Black, Indigenous, and other communities of color.
