Description
The U.S. Mission to ASEAN Public Diplomacy Section is soliciting proposals to develop, organize, and oversee the U.S.-ASEAN Road to 50: Rising Leaders Forum. This one-day workshop in Jakarta will convene approximately 50 rising leaders from USASEAN alumni networks across Southeast Asia. The initiative commemorates 50 years of U.S.-ASEAN partnership and aims to foster an independent, self-sustaining alumni network capable of addressing regional challenges and advancing shared strategic goals.
Key focus areas include:
- Strengthening the U.S.-ASEAN Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP)
- Promoting ASEAN centrality
- Advancing AI, digital economy, energy security, critical minerals, resilient supply chains, maritime security, and entrepreneurship
Activities will include expert panels, strategy sessions, and a joint social media campaign to translate policy goals into practical, cross-border initiatives.
