This opportunity funds the implementation of a two-year EducationUSA Regional Advising Program, based in Barbados, designed to broaden access to U.S. higher education for youth throughout the Eastern Caribbean. The selected individual will serve as a part-time adviser, delivering monthly webinars, virtual and in-person outreach for students and parents, and developing partnerships with U.S. and regional educational institutions. Program activities include at least 24 webinars, personalized advising for at least 400 students, and establishing partnerships with at least 15 U.S. universities. The adviser will also help manage social media and support educational events such as college fairs.
