Description
The U.S. Embassy Budapest Public Diplomacy Grants Program seeks proposals for projects that foster strong connections between the United States and Hungary. Funded activities should highlight shared values, mutual prosperity, and bilateral cooperation, and must incorporate a significant American element—such as U.S. experts, cultural products, or a focus on American policy, history, or values.
Priority areas for 2025 include:
- Economic Diplomacy: Increase awareness of the U.S. as an economic and trade partner.
- Science and Technology Leadership: Showcase American scientific excellence and leadership.
- Cultural Diplomacy: Promote American culture and values.
Projects may involve visits by American experts, use of American cultural products, or educational programs on American topics. All proposals should clearly articulate how the project makes America safer, stronger, and more prosperous.
