--- ## Description The U.S. Embassy in Honduras Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) is offering funding for projects that advance U.S. priorities and foster connections between the United States and Honduras. Priority areas include regional security, celebration of U.S. excellence (especially for the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence), regional economic prosperity, promoting U.S. science, technology, and innovation, and defending freedom of speech. All proposals must include a substantive American element, such as collaboration with U.S. experts, organizations, or institutions, to promote understanding of U.S. policy and perspectives. --- ## Due Dates - **Full application submission deadline:** May 25, 2026 (by 11:59 p.m. Central Time; email to TGGPASGrants@state.gov; Grants.gov timestamp used for timeliness) - **Question submission deadline:** May 25, 2026 (by 11:59 p.m. Central Time; questions to TGGPASGrants@state.gov) --- ## Funding Amount - **Award Range:** $15,000 to $40,000 per project - **Estimated Total Funding:** $120,000 (subject to availability) - **Expected Number of Awards:** 3–5 - **Project Duration:** 3 to 12 months (with possible non-competitive continuation if justified) - **Cost Sharing:** Not required, but encouraged --- ## Eligibility - **Eligible Applicants:** - Not-for-profit organizations (including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations) - Public and private educational institutions - Individuals *Note: For-profit entities are not eligible.
