Supports programs that strengthen U.S.–Gabon ties through public diplomacy, education, entrepreneurship, and cultural initiatives aligned with U.S. policy objectives.

--- ## Description The U.S. Embassy Libreville Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) Annual Program Statement invites proposals for projects that foster stronger relationships between the United States and Gabon. The program aims to highlight shared values, promote bilateral cooperation, and advance U.S. foreign policy priorities. Funded projects should showcase American excellence, support U.S. policy interests, and contribute to making both nations safer, stronger, and more prosperous. Priority areas include: - Promoting business and investment environments in Gabon - Supporting sustainable economic development - Expanding English language training and resources - Deepening U.S.–Gabon ties through cultural preservation and increasing understanding of U.S. policy and culture Sample activities: - English language promotion - Business and entrepreneurship programs - Academic/professional lectures, seminars, and exchanges - Artistic and cultural workshops, joint performances, exhibitions - Cultural heritage conservation Target audiences: - Youth, especially emerging leaders - Opinion leaders (cultural, academic, media figures) Certain activities are not eligible, including partisan political activity, charitable or development aid, construction, religious activities, fundraising, lobbying, scientific research, organizational growth, or duplicating existing programs. --- ## Due Dates - Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and must be submitted by **August 22, 2025** (17:30 local time). - Results will be announced by September 1, 2025. --- ## Funding Amount - Individual awards range from **$5,000 to $15,000**. - Up to **$40,000** total program funding is available. - Up to **7 awards** are anticipated. - Project duration: up to **12 months** (anticipated start date: October 2025). - No cost sharing or matching is required. --- ## Eligibility Eligible applicants include: - Not-for-profit organizations (including think tanks, civil society, and NGOs) - Public and private educational institutions - Individuals - Public International Organizations and Governmental institutions **Ineligible:** For-profit entities - All organizations must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and active registration in [SAM.gov](https://sam.gov/).
