    Description

    This opportunity supports the design and implementation of innovative projects by alumni of U.S. government-funded or facilitated exchange programs in Libya. The aim is to advance economic growth, stability, and stronger U.S.–Libya partnerships through initiatives that foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and workforce development. Projects are expected to empower Libyan youth and professionals, promote commercial diplomacy, encourage STEM education, and strengthen English language proficiency and cultural exchange. All 2026 projects must celebrate and promote America's 250th birthday.

    Priority themes include:

    • Youth and workforce innovation (resources, mentorship, career pipelines)
    • Commercial and economic partnerships (business networks, SMEs, trade, investment)
    • STEM education and technology exchange
    • English language and cultural exchange

    Projects must be led by teams of at least two eligible alumni and may involve partnerships with NGOs, academic institutions, or think tanks.
