Supports a U.S.-Korea study abroad and educator training initiative to strengthen Korean capacity to guide students to U.S. higher education in priority fields.

--- ## Description This opportunity funds a targeted study-abroad and educator training program designed to develop Korean talent in fields aligned with U.S. economic, technological, and security interests (such as STEM, advanced manufacturing, defense technology, energy, and entrepreneurship). The program will train selected Korean high school teachers, guidance counselors, and international program administrators through a three-day workshop in Seoul, followed by a ten-day study tour in the United States. Afterward, participants will deliver in-person presentations and share their experiences with peers across Korea, in collaboration with EducationUSA. The overarching goals are to: - Increase awareness and understanding of the U.S. higher education system among Korean educators and students. - Build institutional and personal connections between U.S. and Korean educational sectors. - Strengthen the capacity of Korean advisors to guide students seeking post-secondary education in the U.S., especially in critical disciplines.
