Description
This funding opportunity supports projects that empower Jordanian parents of children with disabilities by equipping them with advocacy skills, legal knowledge, financial resources, and civic engagement training. The program aims to increase school enrollment and future employment opportunities for children with disabilities in Jordan, foster collaboration between U.S. and Jordanian organizations, and highlight American leadership in disability rights and innovation. Activities may include in-person exchanges, digital and media campaigns, teacher training, and the creation of a national disability coordination network. The initiative seeks to reduce stigma, improve public awareness, and build sustainable advocacy coalitions.
