The Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) at the U.S. Mission to the United Arab Emirates invites proposals for programs that advance U.S. interests and foster stronger U.S.-UAE relations. The funding supports initiatives that promote economic opportunities, highlight American excellence in science, technology, culture, arts, sports, culinary diplomacy, artificial intelligence (AI), health, and related fields. The program is aligned with the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence (2026) and seeks to showcase the enduring U.S.-UAE partnership.
Projects must focus on at least one of seven priority areas:
Proposals must include a strong American element or demonstrate substantial engagement with U.S. experts, organizations, or institutions. Activities may include events, collaborative projects, workshops, conferences, speaker series, alumni engagement, performances, business networking, and more. Construction-related activities are not eligible for funding.
