Description
The U.S. Mission to Oman invites proposals for administering the U.S.-Omani Youth Council, a leadership and bilateral engagement program targeting 10–15 university students from across Oman. The program aims to deepen participants' understanding of U.S.-Omani relations, foster cooperation in areas such as diplomacy, trade, technology, and innovation, and promote youth leadership and civic engagement. The recipient will manage all aspects of program delivery, including outreach, cohort selection, logistics, session planning, and a mini-grants competition for participant-led projects.
The program supports the U.S. Embassy’s Freedom250 campaign and Oman Vision 2040 by promoting youth leadership, human capital development, and sustained people-to-people ties. Activities will include seven monthly sessions (November 2026–May 2027), experiential visits, a capstone event, and the creation of an alumni network.
