    Description

This opportunity from the U.S. Mission to Qatar funds projects that directly advance U.S. economic, technological, and security interests in Qatar. The program is not intended for traditional cultural activities, but rather seeks to position U.S. firms and technologies as Qatar’s preferred partners, highlight the link between open societies and innovation, strengthen U.S.-Qatar security cooperation, and use the U.S. 250th anniversary (“Freedom 250”) to showcase American excellence in ways that support strategic objectives. Projects must align with at least one of four themes: economic and technology partnership, open information and innovation, sovereignty and security, or American heritage and Freedom 250. Proposals must have clearly defined target audiences, measurable objectives, and demonstrate concrete impact.
