Description
The UW Global Innovation Fund (GIF) is an internal funding initiative at the University of Washington designed to catalyze new interdisciplinary research, global learning programs, and curricular innovation. The Fund supports projects that bridge academic boundaries, foster meaningful international engagement, and promote global perspectives within the UW community. Awards are available in several categories, including Research (Seed, Development, and Partnership), Study Abroad/Away, and Teaching & Curriculum. The primary goal is to provide seed funding that enables faculty and staff to launch innovative collaborations, develop new global learning opportunities, and enhance curricula with international or intercultural content.
