Summary: A two-year postdoctoral fellowship for computational neuroscientists to conduct advanced big data research on neuropsychiatric disorders using EEG and fMRI at UCSF and the VA MIRECC.
Key Information: U.S. citizenship required for VA stipend support.
This advanced postdoctoral fellowship is designed for computational neuroscientists interested in neuropsychiatric research, particularly using big data approaches to study the neural mechanisms underlying psychiatric illnesses. Funded by the Veterans Health Administration and affiliated with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), the fellowship is based in the Brain Imaging and EEG Lab (BIEEGL) and the Sierra Pacific Mental Illness Research, Education and Clinical Center (MIRECC; VISN 21). Fellows will engage in innovative research using electroencephalography (EEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of neuroscientists, psychologists, and psychiatrists to advance clinical neuroscience and patient care for veterans.
