Description
This grant opportunity provides funding for the rehabilitation and enhancement of fourteen Amtrak stations in Vermont. The project focuses on upgrading station signage, parking, safety features, and passenger amenities at locations including St. Albans, Waterbury-Stowe, Montpelier-Berlin, Randolph, White River Junction, Windsor, Claremont, Bellows Falls, Brattleboro, Union Station (Burlington), Ferrisburgh-Vergennes, Middlebury, Rutland, and Castleton. Among these, Randolph, Windsor, Claremont, and Middlebury are platform-only stations. The main objective is to improve the customer experience and create a uniform standard across all Vermont Amtrak stations.
