Description
This funding opportunity provides support for the Victim Reunification Travel (VRT) Program, operated by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The program assists parents of children who have been kidnapped by a noncustodial parent and taken across international borders, enabling them to travel for Hague Convention hearings and/or to accompany their children back to the United States. The VRT Program is administered under the guidelines and procedures set forth by the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), with the goal of supporting services for victims of international parental kidnapping or federal crime victims. Funding is authorized under federal statutes to aid missing and exploited children and their families.
