The Visiting Faculty Fellowship at Brown University’s Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America (CSREA) offers a semester-long, in-person residency for tenured or long-term faculty who are on a funded scholarly leave or sabbatical. The fellowship is designed to support research that critically engages with race, ethnicity, and/or indigeneity in the United States or related transnational contexts. Fellows are fully integrated into CSREA’s intellectual community, with opportunities to participate in seminars, present works-in-progress, and engage in collaborative and public scholarship. The program aims to foster interdisciplinary exchange, build networks, and contribute to public knowledge and efforts toward a more equitable society.
