The Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (CRASSH) at the University of Cambridge offers Visiting Fellowships for scholars from outside Cambridge. These fellowships are designed for independent research in the arts, humanities, or social sciences, and also welcome interdisciplinary projects that involve medicine, engineering, or natural sciences. Fellows are provided with a workspace, IT support, and full access to Cambridge’s libraries and collections. While there is no academic supervision, fellows are encouraged to participate actively in the CRASSH research community and its events. Fellowship durations range from one to three academic terms (2–9 months), with the possibility of extending up to 11 months if aligned with university term dates. Shorter Summer Visitor stays (1–12 weeks, July–September) are also available, though with limited programming.
