Description
The VPRF/AVMF Pharmacology Research Grants, jointly funded by the Veterinary Pharmacology Research Foundation (VPRF) and administered by the American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF), aim to advance animal health through research in veterinary pharmacology and pharmacokinetics. The program funds projects that evaluate the safety and effectiveness of novel or existing drug therapies, develop models of animal diseases, ensure food safety in treated livestock, and address antimicrobial resistance. Both pharmacology and pharmacokinetic proposals are considered, with an emphasis on studies that have direct relevance to veterinary species.
