Description
The Vermont Community Foundation established the VT Flood Response & Recovery Fund to support Vermonters responding to and recovering from catastrophic rainfall across the state. Its purpose encompasses immediate storm and flood response, continued recovery, and stronger resilience to future events. The fund’s statewide focus connects these stages rather than concentrating solely on immediate relief.
The fund describes donor support as helping individuals and families rebuild and repair flood-impacted homes. Its website also highlights the Foundation’s transition from the flood response fund to a permanent resource for future disaster response and recovery.
