Over two academic quarters, fellows work remotely on a range of communications projects such as writing articles for newsletters and developing web content, specifically related to marine science and policy. The program is designed to provide hands-on experience, build writing portfolios, and help bridge the gap between scientific information and public understanding. Fellows collaborate regularly with WSG communications staff and gain valuable exposure to science communication careers.
