The Weaver Awards, part of the Aspen Institute’s Weave: The Social Fabric Project, are designed to empower local leaders and organizations (“weavers”) who build trust, foster belonging, and strengthen community connections across the United States. The initiative provides both microgrants directly to individuals and groups making a difference in their neighborhoods, and significant startup funding and support to selected Community Host organizations that administer the awards locally. The program aims to address the crisis of social disconnection by investing in grassroots efforts that unite people and inspire broader community engagement.
