Established in 2023, the program is dedicated to supporting emerging scholars whose research addresses racial, social, and educational inequality. Selected scholars receive mentorship, access to the Roper Center’s extensive public opinion archives, and immersive training alongside leaders in the field. The program emphasizes community-engaged scholarship, methodological innovation, and the development of inclusive, culturally relevant approaches to public opinion research. Scholars benefit from hands-on experience in public polling, policy analysis, and curriculum design, contributing to more representative and equitable research practices.
