Summary: Supports employment and English language training for recipients of Refugee Cash Assistance in states where Refugee Support Services will no longer operate.
This program provides funding to ensure that recipients of Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) in select states can access required employment services as outlined in the Immigration and Nationality Act. With the discontinuation of Refugee Support Services (RSS) in certain states beginning in FY 2027, the Wilson Fish Bridge to Employment Program (WF B2E) will offer employment training, job placement, and English language instruction to eligible individuals. Services are available to those within the first 36 months after their arrival in the U.S. or after receiving an ORR-eligible status. Approved projects may provide these services directly or via subawards. Specific states covered will be detailed in the forthcoming Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
