    Description

    The Windows on the World (WOW) program is designed to provide outstanding Air Force scientists and engineers (AF S&Es) with the opportunity to conduct full-time research at non-government foreign laboratories. The program aims to:

    • Enable AF S&Es to collaborate with leading international researchers, access unique experimental facilities, and bring new skills and knowledge back to their home organizations.
    • Develop enduring international research collaborations and broaden participants' experience in the global science and technology community.
    • Enhance career development and contribute to the Air Force’s science and technology mission.

    Visits may last up to 179 days and can be shorter or non-contiguous, as appropriate. Upon completion, participants return to their home organization with the expectation to leverage the acquired experience and networks for Air Force benefit.
