This annual grant program recognizes and supports public school educators in the greater Washington, DC area who are developing innovative performing arts projects for middle and high school students. The award enables teachers to bring professional artists into classrooms, create unique learning experiences, and foster community connections through artist residencies, master classes, or commissions. Projects are encouraged to integrate technology, environmental themes, social change, and cross-disciplinary learning through the arts. All projects must culminate in a student performance or presentation and be completed within the school year.
