Description
This grant provides formula-based funding to outlying areas of the United States under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) for Program Year 2026. The consolidated allotments support workforce development activities for adults, dislocated workers, and youth. Funds are intended to enhance employment opportunities, job training, and related services in American Samoa, Guam, the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, the Republic of Palau, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The program allows eligible outlying areas to consolidate their WIOA Title I funds into a single grant, providing flexibility to use funds across Adult, Youth, and Dislocated Worker activities as needed.
