Its goal is to support the production of Holocaust scholarship by providing scholars—particularly those who are untenured, contingent, or working outside academia—with the time, space, and resources necessary to advance their original research projects. The retreat also fosters a vibrant, interdisciplinary community of Holocaust scholars and provides access to the Museum’s extensive collections and resources. Participants receive lodging, meals, and reimbursement for transportation costs.
