Description
This grant, administered by the College Art Association (CAA), supports the publication of scholarly books on the art of the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The program’s goal is to advance the field of American art history by enabling the publication of significant research, especially projects that might not be published otherwise due to limited commercial potential, high production costs, or a focus on underserved topics or constituencies. The grant is open to projects by early-career scholars, curators, and those addressing new or underrepresented areas in American art. Museum exhibition or collection catalogs containing substantial scholarship may also be considered.
