Description

This grant supports the publication of scholarly, book-length manuscripts about the art of the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Administered by the College Art Association (CAA), the program is designed to facilitate the publication of high-quality research that might otherwise face obstacles due to limited market size, high production costs, or the early-career status of authors. Museum exhibition or collection catalogs with substantial scholarship are also eligible. The program values groundbreaking research, projects from smaller museums or underserved constituencies, and works that increase the audience for North American art.
