--- ## Description This funding opportunity supports consortia to tailor and test eXtended Reality (XR) solutions for industry, emphasizing human-centric assessment frameworks and large-scale deployment in near-operational industrial environments. Projects must address social sciences and humanities (SHS) dimensions, making SHS-related outcomes open source and publicly available. The initiative aims to enhance the real-world impact of XR in industry, contribute to sustainable development, and align with EU policies such as the Green Deal. --- ## Due Dates - Application deadline: August 12, 2025, 02:00 (Brussels time) - Single-stage submission --- ## Funding Amount - Up to €233,900 per selected consortium (fixed lump sum) - Stage 1 (2 months, Individual Mentoring Plan): up to €32,700 - Stage 2 (5 months, Beta Testing): up to €107,600 - Stage 3 (5 months, Analysis): up to €93,600 - Total funding available for this call: €935,600 - Project duration: 12 months --- ## Eligibility - Consortia must consist of two entities: - One research team (research organization or academic research group specializing in human-centric XR assessment) - One end-user entity (any type of industrial end-user) - Both partners must be legally registered in eligible countries before May 30, 2025 (see Guide of Applicants, Section 3.1) - Solutions must be at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 7 or 8 at the time of application - Projects must address one of the challenges specified in the Guide of Applicants (Section 3.2) - SHS deliverables arising from testing must be open source and publicly available - Projects must demonstrate a clear European dimension and alignment with EU sustainability and policy goals --- ## Application Process - Submission is via the online application form: [https://xr2industry-3.fundingbox.com/apply](https://xr2industry-3.fundingbox.com/apply) - The evaluation process consists of four phases: 1.
