Description
The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) at the Barry Community Foundation awards annual grants to nonprofit organizations for projects that directly benefit youth in Barry County, Michigan. The program is unique in that applications must be written by youth, supporting youth leadership and engagement in community philanthropy. YAC regular grants are intended to fund initiatives that address youth issues, enhance educational opportunities, and improve community well-being. In addition to regular grants, a mini-grant program is available for smaller, school-based projects.
