The Youth Mental Health Providers Recruit, Retain, Rest and Recuperation (4R) Grant Program is designed to address the youth mental health crisis in Santa Barbara County by supporting organizations that provide direct behavioral healthcare to children, youth, and their families. The program aims to help organizations attract and retain qualified mental health professionals—including licensed clinicians and those in training—while also offering resources to address secondary trauma among providers. Priority is given to organizations with clear recruitment and retention strategies, evaluated pay structures, and innovative, collaborative approaches. The ultimate goal is to strengthen organizational capacity and improve the social-emotional health of youth in the region.
