Summary: Supports small NYC nonprofits in building organizational capacity to improve youth outcomes and reduce inequality.
The Youth Service Capacity-Building Grants (YSCG) program is designed to strengthen the organizational infrastructure of small nonprofit organizations in New York City that provide direct services to youth ages 5 to 25. The program’s goal is to help these organizations address critical capacity-building needs—such as financial management, board development, human resources, fundraising, strategic planning, IT, leadership, communications, or evaluation systems—so they can become more stable and effective in tackling inequality in youth outcomes. In addition to financial support, grantees receive tailored technical assistance and participate in peer learning communities.
