This funding opportunity aims to strengthen the long-term financial sustainability of women’s rights organisations (WROs) in Zimbabwe working to prevent and respond to violence against women and girls (VAWG). The programme seeks to help organisations diversify and increase domestic financing—including from corporates, individuals, and the diaspora—to build resilience within the VAWG ecosystem. Grants will support either (A) the mobilisation of new domestic resources for VAWG through innovative partnerships, or (B) the strengthening of financial resilience and sustainability of frontline WROs. The programme is a response to reduced international donor funding, focusing on locally led solutions and sustainable resource mobilisation.
